Seeing the first collections I have chosen in store for this Autumn/Winter season has been a real learning curve as it has given me the opportunity to become more familiar with the brands, gain feedback from customers and generate a whole lot of exciting ideas to implement going forward into next year so stay tuned!
So, for the last magazine of the year I wanted to highlight some more key trends and make a few suggestions for Christmas wish lists…
‘Get your Grey on’
Trying to avoid any Fifty Shades related puns here but grey does seem to be a go to staple colour year on year and not just in the cooler months. Just like an all black outfit, if styled correctly, a top to toe look in this ever present colour can look super chic.
This Markus Lupfer woollen poncho adds a hint of sparkle to a practical piece, £295
‘All Plaid out’
This design was very prominent on the seasons catwalks, particularly in a tartan print with a hint of red and what a great way to brighten up a classic fabric.
This Sonia by Sonia Rykiel cape coat is a quirky way of embracing this trend, £395
Androgyny is a concept that designers are adopting more and more, Valentino took it one step further by actually having men walk the runway at their Paris Fashion Week show in March this year.
With a nod to menswear, this overcoat from By Malene Birger has a tailored style with double breasted front, flap pockets and timeless check pattern, £529
Give the gift of style and comfort with a pair of Sargossa's, designed with three layers of scientific memory foam and optimal heel hight they are sure to take you way beyond the party season!
Redefined style in Black, £235
Supreme style in Red, £220
If all else fails, why not go all out Bridget Jones style with the ever popular Christmas Jumper!
Markus Lupfer embellished pudding Sweatshirt, £180
